K-Pore
K-Pore is the Association of Korean Dermatologists’ guideline-based, advanced treatment specifically designed to minimize the appearance of enlarged pores. It uses Bipolar Advanced Microneedling Radiofrequency EBD with specific parameters for reducing the enlarged pores.
By combining physical micro-channel with deep-reaching thermal energy, K-Pore addresses the structural causes of prominent pores for a smoother, airbrushed finish.
Key Benefits
K-Tightening is effective for
Enlarged pores
Pore Size Reduction
Tightens the collagen scaffolding surrounding pores, making them appear smaller.
Oil Control
The thermal energy can help regulate overactive sebaceous glands, reducing excessive oiliness.
Structural Tightening
Improves skin elasticity to prevent pores from "stretching" or sagging into an oval shape.
Texture Smoothing
Refines the skin’s surface for a more uniform and polished appearance.
Deeper Delivery

K-Pore at a Glance
Number of sessions
The number of sessions needed varies based on the severity/size/depth of pores, individual skin conditions and desired results. Usually, 3–5 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart is recommended.
Downtime
Minimal downtime. After treatment, most clients experience mild redness that subsides within a few hours.
Some may feel a dry sensation temporarily for a few days as the skin begins its normal renewal process.
Unlike more invasive procedures, there’s no need to take days off work or limit activities. Clients are usually free to return to their normal routines immediately after their treatment.
During treatment
You may experience a prickling sensation, but the comfort level can be easily adjusted to suit your personal preference by modifying the treatment settings.
After treatment
Apply a cold pack for a few minutes as often as possible on the day of treatment. Ensure you apply sunscreen properly.
Starting the day of treatment, you may wash your face, shower and also resume outdoor activities, provided you wear sunscreen. You may apply makeup 1–2 days after the treatment.
FAQs
How does it work?
K-Pore works by creating a synergistic effect between mechanical stimulation and controlled heat:
Remodeling: It creates micro-channels that trigger the body’s natural wound-healing response, producing fresh collagen.
Tightening: It releases energy into the dermis. This heat causes immediate contraction of collagen fibers and long-term tightening of the skin “envelope,” which pulls pores tight.
Sebum Regulation: The heat affects the sebaceous glands, which can help reduce the oil production that often keeps pores stretched open.
How long does it take to see results from K-Pore?
It takes approximately 3-4 months for the microholes with the treatment to be replaced with the new skin tissue.
How long is the session time?
The session time is approximately 20 minutes excluding any applicable topical numbing time.
What to avoid before K-Pore?
Clients are asked to COMPLETELY REMOVE makeup/sunscreen/moisturizer/lotion/essence/serum etc. before each clinic visit.
What are the do's and don'ts after K-Pore?
Do’s
Apply a cold pack for a few minutes as often as possible on the day of treatment.
Apply a physical sunscreen (Zinc Dioxide or Titanium Dioxide) properly during the treatment period.
Use a gentle cleanser and lukewarm water.
